2 and 3-Way Mixing Valves for Steam, Vacuum, and Hydronic Heating Systems
2-Way Steam Application Valves
These valves can turn on or turn off the flow of steam from boiler or other sources into a steam distribution system. Its application include using steam to heat radiators in a building.
2-Way Valves for Vacuum Heating
Two-way valves can be used to adjust the flow of sub-atmospheric steam from the boiler into a steam distribution system. These actuators come with position feedback signal. Also, valves up to 6” can be ordered with a valve percent opening gauge.

Some Features of 2-Way Valves (No-Feedback)
- These valves come with motors or actuators and transformers
- Sizes - 1½” to 6″
- These valves are made to withstand the pressure demands and temperature of various HVAC systems
- Valve motor offers infinite adjustability
- For durability, these are made up of iron body
3-Way Mixing Valve Applications
3 way mixing valve is used to combine heating water to a desired temperature. To maintain the target temperature, hot water from the boiler is mixed with cooler water in correct proportion. Based on outside temperature, The HWR Platinum control adjusts the temperature of hot water.
Features of 3-Way Mixing Valves
Some features of the 3-way mixing valve includes:
- High performance direct-drive actuators
- Flange mounted (Sizes - 2½” to 8″)
- Valves come complete with motors and transformers
- Contoured plug type for continuous flow
- Valve motor provides unlimited adjustability between fully open and fully closed
