Electronic Steam Valve Control

The Electronic Steam Valve Control (ESV) can operate in steam or hot water applications. It offers 2 modes of operation – Parallel or FOFC (First-Open-First-Close). In the parallel modulation, both the motorized valves act as one. The FOFC logic offers better control and finer adjustment.
Some features of the Electronic Steam Valve Control include:

  • Different Mediums, One Control
The ESV can be configured to operate the two actuators in a steam-only or in steam-to-water application.

  • Multiple Modulating Signals
Actuators that run on voltage (0-10V, 2-10V, 0-5V, 1-5V) or 4-20mA current signals can be operated by the Electronic Steam Control Valve.

  • Remote Setback and Boost
To commence a setback for low level usage period, the ESV can accept remote dry contact signal. The Boost option is initiated after the setback, which raises the heat levels faster than before.

  • Remote Enable/Disable
The Enable/Disable devices allows external controls to remotely activate/de-activate the Electronic Steam Valve Control operation.
